Book Quiz Is Here
While I was away, Alan Kennedy nominated me to take the book quiz. I wish all quizzes were about books. So, I gladly took the quiz.
This is not a political post. So, feel free to stop reading the post if you're not into books. But if you want to know more about me, then my answers may help a bit.
Have a nice day everyone.

- Number of books I own.
I left many books behind when I left Iraq, Jordan and Australia. Since moving to America, I've filled two bookshelves with books. Honestly, I lost track of how many books I own. - Last book bought.
Anne Frank, The Diary of A Young Girl.
I started reading the book at Barnes & Noble and decided to buy it. Not a big surprise. I can't leave a bookshop without buying a book. - Last book read.
I finished reading "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix"last month. And YES, I read all Harry Potter books. I can't wait to read "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince."
I'm currently reading three different books:- Purpose Driven Life.
This book has helped me take life easier. - Jihad in Brooklyn : The NYPD Raid That Stopped America's First Suicide Bombers.
This book has given me details on how terrorists operate among us. - The Arabian Nights.
I read this book to break from the serious reading of the previous two books.
I haven't had the time lately to spend much time reading. I hope to finish at least one of the three books before the release of Harry Potter's new installment. - Purpose Driven Life.
- Last book I re-read.
I don't usually re-read books except for "How to Stop Worrying and Start Living"by Dale Carnegie. I first read this book when I was 10 years old. I re-read it many times while living in Iraq. And Yes, I have it on my bookshelf right now :-)
- Five books that mean a lot to me.
Now, this is a tough question. Let me try:- Angela's Ashes: A Memoir.
I don't just like this book. I LOVE THIS BOOK. I laughed a lot while reading the book. It's probably my all-time favorite book, unless another writer can make me laugh and cry at the same time like Frank McCourt did in this book. - Harry Potter books. My most favorite in the series is "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire."
These are well written books. It's always interesting to meet adults who read the books. - Dale Carnegie's Lifetime Plan for Success.
The book combines "How to Win Friends & Influence People"and "How to Stop Worrying and Start Living"
in one volume.
Anytime I feel down, I read parts of this book. It's magical. - Mayada, Daughter of Iraq: One Woman's Survival Under Saddam Hussein.
As an Iraqi who lived under Saddam's regime for many years, this book added an inside look at the old regime's chambers of torture. - Cold Mountain.
I wish they never made this novel into a movie. The movieis very boring compared to the book.
- Angela's Ashes: A Memoir.
- Five people you wish to take this quiz:
- The Iraqi bloggers listed on my sidebar. I don't want them to think I prefer one over the other. So, I choose them all.
- My hot-tempered/cyber friend, Jeffery.
- My geek/cyber friend, Mad Canuck.
- My fellow Middle Eastern blogger, Desert Island Boy.
- My favorite Cuban-American blogger, Mad Tom.
You don't have to answer the quiz. I'm only following the quiz rules.
Have a nice day everyone.
